MIS Strategic IT Vendors 2009

Network Box named by "MIS Asia Magazine," as one of Asia's Top20 Strategic IT Vendors

Network Box was honored as one of MIS Asia Magazine’s Strategic 100 IT vendors; and named as one of Asia’s Top 20 Regional IT firms, along with world class companies such as China Telecom, CPC Net, Hutchison Telecommunications International, Jardine OneSolution, NCS, NTT Communications, PCCW Solutions, SingTel, Telekom Malaysia and Wharf T&T.

Michael Gazeley, the Managing Director of Network Box, received the official certificate from MIS Asia, at their Hong Kong Park Ceremony.

The Strategic 100 – now in its 13th year – consists of three categories; The Global 75, the Regional 20 and the Rising Star 5. This is the third consecutive year that Network Box has made the Strategic 100 list.

Network Box, a Hong Kong based Managed Security Service provider, has Security Operations Centers right across the globe, including in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, UK and the USA.

“Network Box’s greatest business challenge in the past year, has been meeting clients’ needs to deploy Unified Threat Management technology on a global level, rather than country level,” said Gazeley.

“In other words, allowing a global IT manager to implement the same firewall rules across thirty locations worldwide, as easily as in any one country,” he explained.

“This year Network Box launched its new in-the-cloud “Box Office” system, which allows global management to take place easily, and can also show graphical views of global deployments on scaleable maps,” he added.

“Network Box even launched a matching Apple iPhone application, to allow IT Managers to monitor and manage their IT Infrastructure, from almost anywhere. With Network Box systems, IT Managers are no longer stuck at their desks anymore,” said Gazeley.

Managing Director of Network Box, Michael Gazeley is receiving the Certificate of Regional 20.
